Sofia Vergara is a Columbian actress who often hosts television shows and appeared in many magazines. She is also a comedian acted in many films and owns an enterprise.

She is well known for hosting 2 television shows for Univision that was telecast in late 1990s. Her television career had opened up a window of exposure to all over North America prior to acting in some English movies. However, she appeared in movies like Chasing Papi, Meet the Browns, and Madea Goes to Jail later on…

She was nominated for Golden Globe Award, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award for her appearance as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in ABC series Modern Family.
